Up-cycled and Refinished

Everyone has a favourite piece of furniture that they just can't bare to let go of perhaps after you have redecorated and it doesn't quite fit in your home anymore. It ends up in the garage and stays there where it gets the odd glance and the "I do love you but....." or "How can I make you fit???" It may have a shape to it that you love but the colour is all wrong. 

There are endless options available to you.  Start by thinking about where you want to put it, look at what will be around it and pick you favourite accent and incorporate it in your old piece. It could be a colour, a pattern, a fabric or texture. As long as your item is not an antique you can totally change its look. Just take the plunge if you don't like the outcome re do it till you do.
